My stay at Lux Isla was wonderfully relaxing, thanks to the attentive staff who treated me like family, especially Claudia. The daily breakfast was delicious and fulfilling, with options that made each morning special. The location is perfect, just a short stroll from the stunning Talamanca beach.

the room is extremley small, and the ac doesn’t work—absolutely ridiculous for a so-called luxe establishment. also, the staff had the audacity to refuse my request for a late check-out. i was forced to leave at noon, as if i’m not worthy of some extra time. i almost considered leaving a good review, but just couldn’t.

Lux Isla is a hidden gem! The location is superb, only a 2-minute walk to the gorgeous Talamanca beach, and the hotel staff are a delight. Breakfast is simply divine, with a tantalizing array of options, including the best avocado and eggs you could ask for. Plus, with clean and stylish rooms featuring comfortable beds and great views from the balcony, it was a fantastic retreat!

It was just a balanced option for spending night in Talamanca with good value considering price it charged. I really appreciated how clean the room was and enjoyed some relaxing time on the cute balcony. Remember to explore the nearby beach for a nice walk, it's worth it!

The parking options felt a bit limited, and I found it odd that bags couldn't be stored for just one extra day. Plus, the dining options nearby are not the best, which could make meal planning tricky.
